Medic Division

O’Chiese Safety Services Medic Division is dedicated to providing top-tier medical and first aid support, with personnel certified by the Alberta College of Paramedics as Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs). Our team is equipped to handle high-hazard work and operate in remote locations, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care regardless of the environment.

Our EMRs and EMTs are trained in a wide range of skills, including field-level risk assessment, hazard assessment, gas detection, industrial standard operating procedures, confined space monitoring, and respiratory protection.

We support various industries, offering medical services for drilling and service rigs, plant construction and turnarounds, and pipeline construction.

Our training and scope-of-practice have been meticulously developed by experienced paramedics, and our robust support and communication systems guarantee a rapid and effective response to any medical situation.

Our Mobile Treatment Centres (MTCs) includes 4×4 units equipped for advanced life support, including Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs). These units can accommodate two injured workers along with two medical attendants, ensuring comprehensive on-site care.Based on O’Chiese First Nation, our operations extend to the surrounding area, with all medical, liability, and automobile insurance up to date and customizable to meet specific company needs.
